Manitoba is very limited for quality moose hunts and Manitoba moose hunts are in high demand. The moose areas are remote, 60 to 300 air miles into the wilderness where there is no competition from locals or natives and little or no human contact. All have excellent success rates and hunts are conducted during the rut. The largest moose taken in ACE personal moose camp was in 2003 and was 60“ and scored 210 7/8 and was taken with a traditional bow. Several moose measuring 54” to 66” inches have been taken and 42” to 60” is the average. Record moose have been taken in all camps and continue to be available. In Manitoba there is no waiting for draw results, as outfitters are pre allocated a limited number of non-resident tags. Fishing, ptarmigan and wolf hunting are also available and included with your trip. Check out our combo hunts with caribou and/or bear. We currently represent six REMOTE fly-in moose camps, each offering unique options. Early booking is a must for Manitoba Moose! Three of the six camps we represent are already sold out for this year and booking into the next year or two. A couple of camps do have a few tags left for this year. We are researching for more quality moose hunts but QUALITY is the key Many of the outfitters that meet our standards are also already booked up well into the future with return hunters. |
||||
IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO BOOK AT LEAST 1 TO 2 YEARS IN ADVANCE - Due to the great demand and limited tags allocated for Manitoba's High Quality Trophy Moose and Caribou. | ||||

Friendly hospitality is a family tradition for three
generations. With close to fifty years of hunts and tourism
experience this is a premier outfitter in Northern Ontario
offering more than 50 remote locations throughout 10 000 square
miles north of Lake Superior. Their vast virgin area along with
their experienced staff and dedicated commitment ensures
archery, muzzle and rifle hunters unsurpassed success (archery
in late September or rifle in October). Although this camp is
well renowned for superb fishing opportunities from many lakes
and well appointed cabins, hunting is not a sideline. They have
created a separate division of their operations, geared and
dedicated solely to the hunting opportunities. This camp offers
the ultimate experience with options of remote outposts with no
road access and no other hunters with access to the areas as
well as some alternative low cost drive - in hunts. They are
offering a very limited number of exclusive Moose Hunts. The
moose live and die in this wilderness area and as the
owner/pilot mentioned - has spotted moose in the high 60's
during his daily flights over the area transporting the summer
fishermen. in 2007 the largest moose taken was 66 inches and is
featured on their website. We are VERY pleased to be able to
offer this hunt - the camp owner/manager/pilot and his team are
long term moose hunters who know the area extremely well (they
fly it daily from May to October), they know and understand
moose and moose habitat (The owner has successfully hunted moose
for about 35-40 years), they know what it takes to offer world
class services (they have been doing it for 35 years). They also
know that the guide is a huge portion of the formula and they
have the right people in place. This is the perfect formula for
success. We believe this is an incredible opportunity for anyone
looking for the elusive Trophy Moose. For a variety of options
they specialize in combined fall fishing and hunting so you can
alternate your days hunting for moose, ducks or grouse with
fishing for northern pike, walleyes and perch. Whichever season
or hunt option you choose, this camp will do their utmost to
ensure your hunt is a success and a great experience! This camp
has so many options from the exclusive 1 on 1 hunt - which we
assume is what you are looking for - right down to a do it
yourself group of 8 with 1 or 2 bull tags "party hunt" which you
can learn more about on their website. We suggest you request
our e-brochure and then check their website well and then we can
chat more. Moose hunts are 7 or 10 day. Price vary so much depending on options, number of days, number of guides, or no guides, archery or rifle hunts. Our e-brochure documents this all very well as well as takes you to their website to check further. Unfortunately we can not put all that info here - so email for our e-brochure if this hunt interests you. Hunt: 2009 $1795 and up - exclusive hunts include taxes and licences. Deposit of $750 to book, full advance payment is due 60 days prior to the hunt. |
